The differences to the Olympic games that took place in Ancient Greece and the ones this weekend are what they were for and why they competed in them. In Ancient Greece the athletes competed for Zeus and would worship him by competing in these sorts. Another difference is that they competed naked sometimes and if they wore anything it would be loin clothes. One similarity is that they both had the best athletes from their times compete in these games. Another similarity is that women could compete if they were a virgin.
