• Built with funds that the Athenians got as a result of the Persian wars.
• The age Pericles is considered the classical age
• His idea was to build a navy
• There was a picture of a parade in the Parthonon
• This temple was dedicated to the virgin Athena
• The Arts reached high point during this period
