We know that Egypt had a lot of slaves like Jews, Mesopotamians, and slaves from central Africa. Ka was the key to their religion. Your Ka was released when they die and eventually it was called up to judgment. The heart is weighed with a feather and if they equal the same amount than they get to go into the afterlife.
