Church and Monasteries Daily
The Monasteries and Church became the center of learning because they became so powerful. This age was during the uprising of Christianity and monotheism. The Church became powerful so therefore this became the center of learning in the middle ages. The middle ages were the ages of missionary work in the Church. They started translating the books into different languages like Latin. There goal was to preserve the classical knowledge so that the events and people would not die with the knowledge. They were teaching people about their past by translating the history books into different languages. During the whole Middle Ages the Churches were the place of learning.
