• The queen of England Elisabeth was their best loved queen
• 1559 was when she came to reign when she was 44
• Was the daughter of King Henry the 8th
• His wife could not produce a son so he wanted a divorce
• She was given a house when she was three months old
• Mary hated taken second to Elisabeth
• 1534 a law was passed that only offspring from Ann could be royalty
• Ann was arrested and sentenced to death when she couldn't produce a son
• Henry married Jane Senor
• Mary became nicer to Elisabeth
• Jane delivered Edward but died a couple days after
• 1574 - Henry was dead
• Edward was way to young to rule but Elisabeth was 14
• He was only 10 years old
• When Edward died Mary became England's queen
• Mary wanted to Mary Philip of Spain
• She was kept prisoner in the tower of England for two months
• Philip returned to Spain
• She was 25 years old when she became queen
• In 1558 she was proclaimed queen of England
